Over the past few weeks, I have been piecing together my summer wardrobe. Picking pieces here and there- keeping in mind the gaps I have in my closet. A simple black dress, a classic black strappy sandal, the right nude lip gloss, a new summer scent and earrings that are bold while being lightweight- yes please! Let’s dig into a few of my favorite things from the past week.
A New Day Sal Pumps
I must admit- I may have stretched the need for these shoes. I recently accepted a new promotion at work which will have me venturing into the office more often. When I look at my shoe collection, I realized I was in need of a sturdy heeled sandal that is good for both work and play. Now- how often do I plan to be in office to warrant a new pair of shoes? Not often enough. The need for a cute, chunky heeled sandal won out and I snagged these from Target. Linked here.
NYX This is Milky Gloss
This purchase was an impulse buy gone right. I was influenced this past week when I found out on of my favorite beauty brands launched a new nude lip gloss. I love the shade Cookies and Milk. Nicole Miller Earrings
For years, I have loved the look of Lisi Lerch earrings- these beautifully beaded earrings with a price outside of my budget. I found these earrings a few years ago and recently pulled them out again. I love how lightweight they are and the bold statement they make. They pair well with many things. Signorina- Salvatore Ferragamo
Once upon a time, I was house sitting for my best girlfriend. In the powder room right off of her kitchen, she had this beautiful perfume bottle on display. Intrigued by it, I stopped to test it out and loved the fresh, floral scent. It was feminine, delicate and just the right amount of sophistication. A New Day Black Ruffle Dress
This dress has been all over social media! I am a sucker for a little black dress and this one does not disappoint. There is room in the body, a light weight comfortable fabric with just enough elevated style to be dressed up or down. It also comes in a stunning bright red (you know I had to get that one too!).
