Cool for the Summer or cozy for the Fall? It’s time to talk about transitional outfits.
Over the past few months (or my entire lifetime to be serious) I have very much loved a black and white outfit combo. I recently grabbed these pieces for a Summer trip and love the way they pair for seasons to come. This week’s Friday Five is a head to toe outfit.
St Moriz Color Correcting Mousse
Sunless tanner is an all year round product for me. Finding one that is the right color, that smells good and fades evenly- it next to impossible. I love this one in the shade Ultra Dark. Linked here.
J Crew Factory Pearl Earrings Set
This set of earrings was an impulse purchase. Do I need more pearl earrings? No. Did I fall in love with the variety of this dainty little set? Yes. No regrets and I have been wearing the 3 pearl studs since I got them in. Linked here.
Lately I have been feeling my hair does not have the shine that it used to. I haven’t changed my products recently but did want to find something to help with shine. A little goes a long way with this mist and I use a small amount when my hair styling is complete. Linked here.
Cap Sleeve Tee Tank
I recently searched for a cap sleeve top that would pair well for both work and play. A good staple top for all occasions can be troubling to find. I love the weight and hand feel of this top and it washes quite well for the price. I snagged black and white and love/ wear both often. Linked here.
White Skinny Denim
A good pair of white jeans can be hard to find. Should you wear white after Labor Day? Sure- you should do whatever fits your fancy (within reason) when it comes to what to wear. This denim have stretch, no show through and have a little destruction at the ankle hem. Linked here.
All of these pieces are true staples for your closet. Whether you are looking to freshen up your tan, add a little sophistication with a pearl stud or keeping it casual with this head to toe look- these pieces will play well with whatever you currently own. That’s what I love most about these pieces. As I get older and wiser- I am less excited about quantity and more passionate about finding pieces I love and will get many uses out of. As always, quality does not mean the item has to come with a hefty piece tag either. I look forward to falling in love with 5 new or tried and true favorites next week.
