This week’s post is full of fall favorites that can easily be paired together or separately. I’ve been on a financial journey myself over the past few months and being mindful of what I spend money on is always on my mind. I have been trying to find pieces that I know I will get a lot of use from and finding new ways to enjoy the things I already have. Many of the items this week are a look for less option of popular branded things.
Budget Friendly Shape-wear
During a recent tv segment, I opted to wear a more form fitting dress. In order to feel my best, I pulled out my favorite shape wear. My truth about shape wear: I loathe it. It never fits me right, rolls down and it seems to make my tummy look fuller rather than flatter. I had all but given up on finding a pair that fit right- trying many different brands and price points. My tried and true favorites got me through the segment but I knew eventually I would need to find a pair with a seamless short bottom instead of bikini. My sweet friend, these are them and they retail on Amazon for under $25. they stay in place on my petite torso, so not roll around and a medium fits just right. I am very pleased and it fits so much better than the expensive shorts I purchased from Spanx! Linked here.
David Yurman Dupe Necklace
I am a little bit of a luxury for less junky. I love finding high end looking products that fit in my working girl budget. This necklace is under $20 and is a trendy yet timeless two tone chain. I love this and cannot wait to start pairing it with outfits like the one shared in the post. Linked here.
Pat on the Black Nail Polish
This polish is so good that it stopped y male coworker mid sentence to compliment me on it. Pat on the Black by Sally Hansen is a fall and winter must for a moody deep purple polish. It doesnt break the bank and it is pretty long wearing. I recently had to replace mine because I used it so much it was running out and drying up. This polish is very similar to the cult favorite Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI but a tad more purple (which suits me better). Linked here.
Puff Sleeve Dress
If you follow me on Instagram, you have definitely seen this dress before. I recently wore it to work when I visited the home office. Sharing it again today because the style is perfect for many different occasions- work, brunch, date night, concert- dress it up or down with accessories and shoes. There are similar options like this much larger price tags at Nordstrom and Revolve. Linked here.
Chanel Ballet Flat Dupes
These flats are the find of the season! All last year I searched high and low for cap toe flats like this. They are feminine and classing while being very on trend for the season. I love that they are under $25 but give that coffee at Ralph Lauren in NYC vibe. These are too good to pass up and will be a great basic for work and play. Linked here.
There you have it! this week is filled with looks for less and ways to get the look without breaking your budget. I’ve very much been enjoying the items I have without feeling pressured to keep adding to my wardrobe. These pieces will serve you well over the next few months and seasons. Happy shopping and see you next week.
Until then,
