It is important that we acknowledge something right away before I get into why these 5 products made the list this week. The above image isn’t the most appealing or attention grabbing. To be blatantly honest- it’s probably the saddest image I have created in a very long time. It is a promise that the items are worth every penny and that regardless of how this image makes me feel, you may find yourself clicking a link or two to check them out. So, now that we have gotten that out of the way, I’d love to share with you a few things that I have been loving lately. This week you’ll see many Amazon finds, with a focus on Valentine’s Day and everyday items like shape wear.
One Shoulder Dress| Amazon
I recently shared on Instagram that I have struggled to find dresses online and in store. There is a special dinner coming up and I wanted something a little different than I already own. I wanted to feel confident, beautiful and sophisticated without trying too hard. This dress is everything and then some! It comes in many colors, different lengths and sleeve options. I love this one for wedding guest dress, Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, date night or special event. It is just enough of everything while also making a statement. I grabbed it in my true to size fit and I cannot wait to wear it soon. Another Amazon find for the win! Linked here.
Chain Cuff Bracelet| Amazon
I love to mix and match different metals when it comes to bracelet stacks. I recently got an Apple Watch and changed out the band for a mix metal link option. This oversized chain link cuff is the perfect addition. It is easy to get on and off and it looks high end without the price tag. Amazon has quickly become my favorite spot to shop for everything especially costume jewlery. Linked here.
Metallic Diamond Clutch| Amazon
During a recent TV segment, I shared that in 2023, metallics would be making a major splash trend wise. In my own way, I wanted to find a piece to add to my collection that would get use without being too trendy. This clutch is perfect for special occasions due to its size. It is just big enough to hold your phone, keys, lipgloss and essentials. Nothing is worse than trying to cram your entire life into a tiny bag; this one it just the right size for everything. It would pair perfectly with the red dress for a Valentine’s or Valentine’s event just weeks away. Linked here.
Strapless Bra| Target
Shopping for strapless bras is right up there with swimsuits on the list of “things I do not enjoy doing”. Finding one that fits, stays up and doesn’t break the bank seems nearly impossible. Take it from me- a former bra specialist for both aVictoria’s Secret and GAP, it is tricky for matter your size and shape. I have personally had a lot of luck trying them through Target. This one is supportive without being bulky and offers little to no additional padding (preferable for someone like me that has more than she needs up there). Linked here.
Shape-wear Shorts| Amazon
Confession: I carry most of my weight in my belly- always have and likely always will. Finding shape wear that doesn’t pool all of my weight to my belly has been a struggle for me since I was young. I have tried $$$ options and every style known to man- nothing has flattered me more than these.
This pair smooths everything out without cutting off the circulation to my legs and stomach, they don’t ride up or curl down and best of all- they are 1/3 of the price of those pricier brands. There are many different options from Maiden-form and I like these shorts best- though their other styles do the job well too. As someone with a petite build and average length torso, they provide a great amount of coverage without bunching up. Be sure to read the size requirements correctly before you purchase. I hope these help you as much as they have helped me. Linked here.
